“I went to Tanzania with a group of friends and relatives (24 of us) in July for a long awaited safari excursion. We planned to travel to the national parks for most of the trip but we had a few days in Arusha – what to do? Call African Heartland Safaris that’s what. Teri and her crew showed us the city, and and took the time to arrange a trip to a an Maasai boma. The tour was a treat – this was not part of a regular tourist agenda and we felt fortunate to experience and interact with the Maasai people. With Teri as your guide you will have a fun and you will also learn because she was able to answer every question we peppered her with. We felt our days tours were individualized for our group and we were also pampered. She even tools photos and videos for us. I can’t recommend enough.”
