Tarangire offers incredible scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so famous in this Park, Herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen all at once by the dry river bed for underground streams, they are easily encountered during wet or dry seasons while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking Tarangire river.
The park host year round 550 bird varieties, the most breeding species in one habitat anywhere in the world, a heaven for ardent bird lovers. We return to lodge late afternoon for cocktails and see the most incredible sunset over the vast plains of Tarangire
