 Day 1 Arrive in Nairobi

On arrival at Nairobi International Airport / Transfer to Giraffe Manor for check in. Dinner at Carnivore restaurant.
Overnight at Giraffe Manor HB

Day 2 Nairobi / Laikipia / Solio Ranch 

After breakfast you will visit Giraffe Centre and then be transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Nanyuki. On arrival transfer to Solio Ranch for lunch. After lunch have an afternoon game drive.
Solio Ranch is nestled between Mt. Kenya and the Aberdare Mountain Range. By road is a three-hour drive to Nyeri – Nyaharuru Road. By air, daily scheduled flights from Nairobi to Nanyuki Airstrip. you to Solio Private Airfield.
Dinner and overnight at Solio Lodge Full board.

Day 3 Laikipia / Solio Ranch

Morning game drive in an open sided Landcruiser. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive.
The ‘Solio Ranch’ is one of the finest wildlife parks in Africa. The park is fenced privately-owned wildlife conservation for rhinos. The Solio Game Reserve was founded in 1970 when the owner of the Solio cattle ranch fenced off a large section of land and dedicated it to conservation.  The park plays a major in the protection and breeding of black rhinos in. Day 4 Laikipia / Solio Ranch

After breakfast this morning learn how to identify and understand the behavior of wildlife and insects from our experienced guides. Enjoy a rewarding, peaceful Solio Lodge walk on the ranch and find yourself in the company of dik dik, waterbuck, impala, warthogs and an abundance of birdlife. Return to the lodge for lunch. This afternoon enjoy horseback ride and breathtaking scenery of the landscapes getting a closer view of the wildlife and a vast array of exquisite birdlife in the park

Day 5 Solio Ranch / Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, fly to Maasai Mara. Upon arrive in the airstrip your guide will pick and transfer you to the Governor Camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and the variety of antelopes, the maasai giraffe and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah and leopard. Also, to be seen are the largest bird, the maasai ostrich, the secretary bird, the crested crane and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos are also seen at the river. Return to your lodge by sunset

Day 6 – 7 Maasai Mara National Reserve

Two full days in the park, with early Morning optional hot air balloon safari ride across the Maasai Mara plains. Breakfast at the lodge, morning and afternoon game drives. Maasai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the South. Wildlife abounds here; The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black maned males. See the great Migration where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as if you’re lucky the leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents.  film/tapes and enjoy yourselves!   In the evening visit Maasai village.

Day 8 Maasai Mara National Reserve / Departure 

After breakfast early morning you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled t flight to Wilson Airport. On arrival you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your home flight.
