Located just 40 kilometers off the coast of Tanzania Zanzibar Island is referred to ‘Spice Island’ an important trading center of the Indian Ocean region in the nineteenth century the island became famous for spices and fresh produce, and supposedly boasts the sweetest pineapple in the world. The island is characterized by the magic of historic Stone Town and beautiful sandy beaches.

Stone Town has a high Muslim population so remember to cover up and bring appropriate clothing.

In the evening time at around 6 pm take a walk to Forodhani Park where every day the fisherman sells fresh fish from their catch along at the water front, this can be many different kinds of fish such as lobster, octopuses, crabs, prawns etc.… well worth trying!

Day 1 Arrival in Zanzibar / Transfer to Hotel by Choice

Day 2 Half Day Tour

Start off the day with an early breakfast followed by an half day tour of the famous Stone Town. This is approximately five hours walking.

Beit El Amani Memorial Museum
Tippu Tip’s house (house of the slave trader) take a break here at the balcony  of Africa House Hotel

Mtoni Palace Ruins (The place is excellent for dinner)
